About Your Guide

Heather Leavitt Martinez (she/her/hers) is the Founder/Director of Tech Host Academy. She is also a visual practitioner, Appreciative Inquiry & Resilience facilitator and award-winning author living in Durango, Colorado.
Heather’s approach to tech hosting focuses on the hosting aspect with a healthy side of tech. She believes that most remote users, already have what they need on hand to tech host successfully. With a few tech tweaks, time in the saddle, and a passion for service, anyone can model the way for online sessions.
With over 25 years of design experience, Heather has applied her visual and virtual skills by supporting leadership development trainings, high-performing teams, and change management using strategic visualization. She specializes in approach design for virtual and in-person meetings, off-sites, and retreats.
Heather also supports facilitators with their meeting approach design, developing visuals that support breakthrough conversations, and rapid-capture lettering when working at the front of the room.
